This week things have been a little crazy, some things at work just haven’t gone to plan and I must admit it has been a challenge.

… I’ve also got a wedding coming up that I wanted to make sure I look great for!… So even though times are a little more stressful and challenging than normal I need to stay focused.

So what special event do you have coming up that you have been trying to lose weight for?

Perhaps it’s a wedding, perhaps it’s not. But we all have events in our lives that we can use to motivate and inspire us to move forward.

I like the example of a wedding as this big event is such a great motivator, and most of us can relate.

… either through the experience of our own wedding day or through a great wedding you have attended.

Whether you’re the bride, groom or part of the extended bridal party, everyone wants to look their best when they are dressed up to the nines!

Weddings do bring out the best in us… when it comes to losing weight you get really clear on what you want and why you want it.

You determine the outcome you want to achieve right from the get-go.

… And then you usually do everything you can to work towards looking and feeling your best for the big day (despite the fact that there will be lots of stressful moments along the way).

Weight-Loss Goals…

So let me ask you this question…

How are you doing with your weight loss journey? Are you clear about your goals?

If not, then you need to be!

Knowing your goal and what you are aiming for is the very first important step in your weight loss journey.

… then I want to ask who are you doing this for?

Do it for yourself, do it for your kids or do it for the admiration and compliments that others will give you when you are looking your finest.

The reason WHY must really strike a chord with you.

It must move you otherwise it won’t motivate you.

Who or What Are Your Health Goals For?

It doesn’t matter who and what you are doing it for, whether it’s for you or for someone else.

Just pick the goal, make it achievable, believe you can do it and then work towards it!

Because the thing is… if you have unclear goals and you don’t know why you want to achieve them, then there is a good chance you will falter with your fasting diet plan (or any other health goal for that matter!)

…. Things have been tough but I’m looking forward to this wedding; this special event.

So this is what I do to soldier on and stay focused on my goal… and perhaps you can do the same (to make sure you are at your best for your upcoming special event).

I remind myself of my wedding day and how great it was, how good I looked and how, despite the fact that it was an extremely costly and stressful day, I loved it and hit my goal of getting into my dress and looking smokin hot!

>>> Look HOT at your special event

So my suggestion to you is to use these happiness and feel good emotions to get you through.

Think about the process you went through to make sure that your wedding day was such a memorable event and that you looked and felt your best.

Use this as inspiration and motivation to focus on whatever that goal is that you are wanting to achieve right now and know that the results will be worth it and you can celebrate at the special event.

Let me know if this works for you too. Drop me a line. I’d love to know what special event you are working towards and whether you hit your goal.

To your health,

Sarah
